The North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church consists of twelve districts, and about a thousand churches. 

The west/north/east boundaries are the Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina state lines. Cities near the southern boundary are LaGrange, Griffin, Athens, and Augusta. 

The Conference offices are located in the Gibson Lodge of the Simpsonwood Conference and Retreat Center in Norcross, Georgia.  The Disaster Response Ministry is a part of the Connectional Ministries.
