North Georgia Conference Disaster Response Ministry: Donations

N. Georgia Tornado Response If you would like to make a cash contribution to the North Georgia Tornado Relief, (there will be long term recovery needs for the damage in Commerce due to an August tornado. Give donations to your local church and mark them “Tornado Fund #3740.” Church treasurers should send contributions to North Georgia Disaster Relief, c/o Conference Treasurer, PO Box 102417, Atlanta, GA 30368-2417.

Georgia Hurricane Relief Fund To donate to Hurricane Relief through the North Georgia Conference, please use Hurricane Relief Fund Number # 9439. This will apply to 2008 Hurricanes. Mail checks to the Conference Treasurer's Office, PO Box 102417, Atlanta, GA 30368-2417. Or, payments can be made directly to UMCOR by mailing checks to UMCOR, PO Box 9068, New York, NY 10087 or made online at www.umcor.org . Please write the advance number 3019695 on the memo line of the check.

Local Disaster Response

Local Disaster Response Team Local teams are based at a United Methodist church and need funds for tools, a trailer, and travel expenses. Any donation to a team would be greatly accepted.
