Flood Buckets Urgently Needed After
Hurricane Ike

The
damage left by hurricane Ike has cause immediate
widespread need for flood buckets.
We are working on locations where they can be sent.

Please begin preparing flood buckets with the
following materials:
5-gallon
bucket with resealable lid
Bleach
(two 1-quart or one 82 oz. bottle).

scrub brush

cleaning towels (easy-wipes)

sponges
Liquid
laundry detergent (two 25 oz. or one 50 oz. bottle)

household cleaner, 12-16 oz. bottle
Disinfectant
dish soap, 16-28 oz. bottle

clothes pins
Clothes
line (two 50 ft. or one 100 ft.)

dust masks

pair latex gloves
1
pair work gloves
24-bag
roll heavy-duty trash bags, 33-45 gallon
(remove
from box)

insect repellant spray, 6-14 oz. can

air freshener, 8 or 9 oz. can
All
bottles should be plastic. Send new, un-opened
items
inside bucket and seal the lid. Do not include
bleach
if shipping.
