It is a mission purpose of United Methodist NOMADS to assist our church communities and others in time of need, including in times of disasters.

NOMADS have a high skill levels in building and rebuilding tasks.  Therefore, our leaders have determined that NOMADS teams will only be sent into disaster areas when it is time to begin the rebuilding effort.  This plan has worked well during the past few years of our major involvement in disaster areas, like the Gulf Coast Hurricane projects.
