Pasadena Community Ministries Helps Area Residents
On
Thursday, Sept. 18, the Pasadena Community Ministries, a joint effort of about
20 churches in and around Pasadena, provided 35 family packs of food for
delivery to Shoreacres, south of La Porte, where many dealing with water damage
and the issues of IKE.
Rev.
Jack Womack
and wife Kathy, delivered these 35 bags of food to the food distribution point
at city hall at the request of mayor Jayo Washington.
Washington
reported that these would be
useful after the main evening food distribution. This delivery will assist
around 120 persons with non perishable foods like peanut butter, tuna and boxed
milk.
